Isaac Johnston was born on November 8, 1813 in Boston, Culpeper, Virginia, United States, son of John Johnston (~1771–1846) and Hannah Wiseman (~1775–~1855).
Isaac (30) married Nancy Singleton (22) (born on October 8, 1821 in Culpeper) on January 12, 1844. Their children were:
