Biography

Mary is on the 1860 Fed Census with her parents, Charles Johnston and Nancy McCafferty

She is on the 1880 Fed Census with her brother Martin. On this census she shows as married with a last name of Keltner.^[1]

She is on the 1900 Fed Census with her husband Henry H Keltner and seven children, living in Christian, Missouri. The children on this census are: Oma 19, John 17, Elmer 13, Elden 11, Tom 8, Mary J 5, and Beaulah 2.^[2]

The family is still in Christian, Missouri on the 1910 Fed Census the 4 youngest children are still at home and a new daughter Alba B 6 has been added to the family.^[3]

Mary and her husband only have Alvie left at home but there are 3 grandsons in the house on the 1920 Fed Census.^[4]

By 1930 Mary and Henry are living with their son Elmer G and his family, still in Missouri.^[5]

On the 1940 Fed Census Mary is widowed and living with her daughter Abba in Oklahoma with 3 grandchildren in the house.^[6]

She died in Oklahoma and has a Find A Grave record.^[7]
