I have been researching my family for about 10 years, more seriously for about the last 6 years.
I have a lot of information in files and on my computer which I am adding manually here so I can double check the information and add links to documents when I can find them.

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Wow!!! You're the 8,227th Johnston profile on Wikitree! I bet your 'cousins' already here will benefit from your insightful collaboration, sourced research and first-hand knowledge.
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly group of volunteers who are glad to assist with WikiTree-specific problems.

A warm welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
Here are some other suggestions for you to explore:
1. Our Help pages have all sorts of useful information or you may explore the “Family Tree & Tools” tab at the top of your profile.
2. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll see a Volunteer option on your profile page. Click that and leave us a short message about your genealogical interests. A Greeters Project volunteer will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!
More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.
