Biography

John Hedley Johnstone was born in 1884 at Coldstream. He is the son of George Johnston and Emily Elstob. [1]

Jack as he was affectionately known married Ellen Coulthard in the January Quarter of 1909 at North Shields, Northumberland. It should be noted that Jacks name is recorded as "John Henry Johnston" and his wifes name is given as "Ellen Coultert".[2]
