Bessie was Secretary - Treasurer of Women's Institute in Long River in 1914. [3][4]
Murdoch McLeod and Elizabeth Johnstone were married 20 Jun 1927. [5] Murdoch and Bessie travelled to Scotland, arriving in Montreal 11 Aug 1927 aboard the Melita. [6]
She died 24 Aug 1983 and was buried in Geddie Memorial Church Cemetery, Springbrook, Prince Edward Island. [7]
Notes
I remember meeting Bessie and Murdoch, one of the nicest couples I met in PEI. Bessie had a severe scoliosis.
