Richard was born in 1817. He was the son of Abner Jolliff and Rhoda Clark.
He married Orpha Julie McMurphy, Nov 10, 1835, Washington County, IL They had 1 daug - Silva
He was a Baptist preacher like his father and grandfather;
He died abt Sept 1841, age about 24.
Orpha married his cousin Richard Faulkner, Feb 16, 1845.
They had 3 children.
She d bef Feb. 1851.
