Biography

William was born 24th of August 1893 to Frederick Jolliffe and Eliza Parr in Paterson, NJ. William married Marie Swenord (whose last name is often misspelled in records), together they had two children Marie Elizabeth and Florence Mary however on the 1925 census record there is a third child recorded Janet H who is no longer with the family in 1930. If she was thier child it is likely she passed away between the ages of 4-9 however neither of her sisters ever mentioned her to any of thier children and surviving family. William worked his whole life as a clerk and engineer for a locomotive company in NJ and NY and passed away in 1967.
