Biography

One third of the hit group the Jonas Brothers, Kevin is the oldest brother. He plays guitar and backup vocals for the group. Born in New Jersey November 5, 1987, Kevin was a home school student raised by musical parents. His mother home schooled he and his siblings and music was a huge part of their education. His youngest brother Nick, who was recording and starring in plays way before puberty. He encouraged the three to collaborate on a band. They were already doing commercials for Burger King and Lego, and their talent was evident to everyone who saw them, including, Disney.

In 2008 the boys in the band teamed up with Disney and Hannah Montana and launched the Best of Both Worlds tour, which grossed close to 36 million dollars! The tween girls cant get enough, concerts, TV. shows and merchandise.

Kevin’s parents seem to help keep the boys grounded. The father tours with them, as their manager. Kevin Sr. is an ordained minister who supports the boys in their musical and business endeavors. Their mother, who is a sign language teacher and sang in their local church choir, is seen at the concerts clapping, and crying.

A very nice family with what appears to be strong roots.
