NORA CHRISTENE PALUMBO, born January 21, 1912 in Montgomery County, Texas, passed away May 31, 2004 in Houston, Texas. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Will and Molly Jones; brothers, Harmon and Hampton; sisters, Pearl and Vera; her only beloved son, Gary and her husband of 57 years, W.A. "Tony" Palumbo. Survived by: children, Betty Hickman and husband Sherman; Donna Wages; Lee Ann Collins and husband Max Sr.; grandchildren, Daryl McCurdy and wife Pam; Susan Gribble; Joseph Henderson, Pauline Torres and husband Robert; great grandchildren; Cheri and Kristin Smith; Lauren and Daniel Gribble; Jennifer Schultz and husband Matthew, Max Jr and Jacob Collins; Joseph Torres; one great great grandson due in October. A special thank you to officiant, Mr. James Leslie. If you so desire, Nanny would like donations be made to: Salvation Army Sally's House, 1717 Congress Ave., Houston, TX 77002.
