DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Josiah by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Josiah:
I have been trying to understand why it says Elizabeth is mentioned in Josiah's will written in 1743/44 but the link to Elizabeth says she died June 17, 1714. And, that she died in Yarmouth when it seem as if the family was already in East Greenwich. This seems to be consistent on other sites as well. What am I missing?
