Services are 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Waco Fair-mount Cemetery in Mize. Mrs. Loftin was born July 2, 1904 to Wallace W. Jones and Ellen Beavers Jones. Mrs. Loftin worked as a homemaker and part-time Teacher all while preparing for a Nursing Degree. Mrs. Loftin loved quilting and working in her garden. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mize. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Loftin and sons, Paul and Gayneil Loftin.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Bynum of Mize and Tommie Jordan of Mize; sons, Hillman Loftin of Douglas, Texas, Tillman Loftin of Brandon; adopted son, Durwood Thompson of Lena; sisters, Teenie Bishop of Magee and Laura Parkman of Brandon; a number of nieces and nephews; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren.
