Hinze M. Jones

RAYVILLE - Funeral services for Hinze M. Jones, 66, of Rayville, were at 3 p.m. today at the Shady Grove Church of God north of Holly Ridge with the Revs. J. E. Scroggin and Mel Campbell officiating.

Burial was in the McKnight Cemetery north of Holly Ridge under the direction of Brown Funeral Service of Rayville.

Mr. Jones died Tuesday night at the Richland Parish Hospital here following a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Jones of Rayville; five sons, Robert E. Jones and Roger Dale Jones, both of Monroe, Le Roy Jones of Spring Lake, Mich., Melvin Jones of Ferriday and Thomas Jones of Rayville; a daughter, Mary Meriweather of Monroe; a brother, Homer Jones; a sister, Mrs. Leola Claunch of Monroe; and 16 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Homer Antley, Otto Caston, Daryl Caston, Earl Knight and Gussy Hall. ^[12]
