Name of wife given as Magdalin in her husbands's will. Name of Mary Jones and dob is given in Pedigree 5924 in World Family Tree, Vol. 1, on cd-rom. WFT Pedigree is in error in giving Clermont, Ohio as the place of death -- it is probably Fayette Co., IN. The date of death is aft. 1826, the date of death of her husband is shortly before 18 April 1826. Schons surname is from Heider & Branch paper, George Augenstein / Eyestone. The Schons surname was angalized to Jones by the family. Washington Co., Maryland Church Records of the 18th Century Page 38, Magthelena of Thomas Schons (Johns) and Magtalens, married; b. 2 Oct. 1777; bapt 10 Mar 1778; held by same.
