David was born 6 Nov 1829 in Chiswick, Middlesex. He was baptised at St Nicholas, Chiswick on the 29th of that month [1]
In 1841 he was living with his parents on William Street in Chiswick [2] and in 1851 he was still with them, working as a hawker and living on Bennett Street in Chiswick [3]
In 1828 David Jones, a bachelor of full age, a carter, s/o William Jones, a fishmonger, married Eliza Milkin, a spinster of full age, d/o William Milkin, a labourer (deceased). The witnesses were George Sargent and Sarah Green (X her mark). [4]
In 1861 they were living on James street in Chiswick and David was working as a coal porter [5].
In 1893 his wife Eliza died and in 1901 he was living with his daughters Sophia and Mary Ann and their children in Garrick Grove. He was then working, aged 73, as a carman [6]
In 1911 he was in Brentford Union workhouse [7] and he died in Brentford in 1915 [8]
