His occupation has variously been listed as a labourer (1841 ^[1], 1842 ^[4]), a hawker (1851 ^[2]), and a fishmonger (1852 ^[5], 1861 ^[3])

He married Elizabeth Murrant 20 OCT 1822 at St Nicholas, Chiswick, Middlesex ^[6]

In 1841 he was living at William Street, Chiswick^[1]. In 1851 they were at 10 Bennett Street, Chiswick ^[2] and in 1861 at 30 Bennett Street ^[3]

William died in 1866 in Brentford, Middlesex ^[7]
