Biography

Ann Jones was born after 1736 to parents John Thomas Jones and Mary Martha Elizabeth Davis in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The family moved to North Carolina.

She was married first to Henry Morgan in 1756 in Orange, North Carolina. Their marriage is recorded in the New Garden Meeting Minutes. They had a daughter, Catherine, born in 1758. Henry died in 1761.

Ann married second Joseph Brown on 27 Oct 1763 at Cane Creek Meeting in Orange, North Carolina. Joseph was the son of Thomas Brown. John Jones was a resident of Deep River, North Carolina at the time of this marriage.<1>
