Biography
When Cora Francis Jones was born on July 27, 1914, her father, Earl, was 24 and her mother, Cloie, was 21. She married Hazen Hughie Imeson and they had six children together. She then married John Robert Goodchild about 1984, in Ontario, Ontario. She died on April 14, 2011, in Kingsville, Ontario, at the age of 96.

OBITUARY
IMESON (GOODCHILD), Cora (nee Jones) Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2011, at Royal Oak Long Term Care, Kingsville with her family by her side at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her husbands Hazen 1983, & John 1987. Dear mother of Sharon (Sam) Smith; Carson (Marilou); Gloria (Carl) Bratt; Garnet; Marilyn (Benjamin) Agos-tinis; Valerie (Denis) Drouillard. Will be missed dearly by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great children, with 1 on the way and also survived by many step grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Earl (1984) & Chloe (Boussey) (1965). Dear sister of Mildred Amlin & late husband Lonnie; Floyd; Henry & wife Eleanor; Donald & wife Elizabeth. Dear sister-in-law to Lucienna (Desmond) Patterson and Emily Jones. Predeceased by Murray & his late wife Doreen, Ralph, & Harvey. Dear step-mother to Betty (Bernard) Drouillard; Barb (Bob) Mayville; David (Lorelei) Goodchild; Dennis (Helen) Goodchild; & the late Robert Goodchild.
The family wishes to thank the Goodchild family, the staff of Harro-wood, 5 North Met Hospital, Windsor Western Hospital, & the Royal Oak Long Term Care (Mulberry Neighbourhood ) Kingsville for our mother's care and friendliness toward her.
Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St., South, Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue at Community of Christ Church, 157 Alma St., Amherstburg on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service to celebrate Cora's life at 11:00 a.m. Elders Darwin Wismer, Don & Linda Jones officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Online condolences & cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.jhsutton-funeral.ca A tree will be planted in memory of Cora in the Sutton Heritage Forest.
