Biography
Happy Barbara Jones was born 12 Nov 1912 in Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma. She was born the 7th and last child of Minnie Belle {Kerfoot} [1] Minnie Belle was first married to Patrick Buckley in Gentry, Missouri and six children were born.[2] After Pat died, Minnie began using his name on the census records as a widow. Minnie was married again 22 Aug 1908 to James M. Jones [3]. They had one child, Happy, but Minnie filed for divorce in Caddo County, Oklahoma 17 Dec 1913 when Happy was an infant. Minnie took back the Buckley last name with Happy the only one in the family with the different last name of Jones. She attended school in Anadarko, Caddo, Oklahoma [4]She worked as a telephone operator in Anadarko and again in Clinton after her marriage.[5].
Happy was married 20 Mar 1934 in New Cordell, Washita County, Oklahoma to Raymond Bieberich and they had two sons. [6].
Happy passed away in the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City 17 Apr 1995 at age 82.[7]
