Biography

Florence Jones was born 23 Oct 1887. She was the first of Lessie Estelle (Brown) Jones and Elisha Adams Jones two children.^[1][2]

Florence moved with her family several times, living in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1900 ^[3] and New Canaan, Connecticut in 1910. ^[4]

By 1917, Florence had married Edwin Francis Gaskill ^[5] and they settled in Amherst, Massachusetts where Ed was employed at the Agricultural College. They had no children.^{[6] [7] [8]}

After Ed retired, the couple moved to Tucson, Arizona where Florence passed away in November 1970.^[9]
