Research Notes
This profile originally had the given name William in addition to Vinson/Vincent. There seems to be no source so far that mentions "William".
This profile probably eventually needs to be merged with Vincent H Jones (1755-1817), or distinguished from him, if they are different men.
We need sources for his marriage(s). Was he married to Elizabeth Coffee, or Elizabeth Cope, or both?
We need sources for his birth date and death date. The 1 May 1745 date was only sourced from "Ancestry Family Trees". His death date of approximately 1817 is reasonable -- he would have been age 72.
Bedford County, Virginia is about 120 miles from Wilkes County, NC. Richmond, Virginia is about 230 miles from Wilkes County, NC.
