Biography

"The descendants of Capt. Lawrence Washington on the Rappahannock River lost the ancestral estate, Westfalia, because of the multiple marriages of Joyce Jones Hoskins Fleming Washington Yates. Her last husband, James Yates, survived her, dying in 1685. He overturned their prenuptial agreement, giving the Washington birthright to his descendants. They changed the name to Pewmondsend." [1]

and... reading pp 51-52 in Payne's of Virginia closer, it would see that Elizabeth Madestard had a daughter named Elizabeth by both Lawson & Fleming. Perhaps her daughter by Lawson died young? Page 52 says Fleming's daughter Elizabeth (by his second wife, shown as Elizabeth Madestard, widow of Lawson) married Rowland Thornton.

I proposed a merge for two profiles of her daughter Elizabeth Hoskins. I think the third profile attached as a daughter (Elizabeth Fleming-792) should be switched to Alexander's previous wife, Elizabeth Madestard-1.

Jones-25501 and Jones-994 appear to represent the same person because: Please check out I believe with some cleanup and research they could be the same person

Jones-5268 and Jones-994 appear to represent the same person because: Stewart -2795 has it right. Someone who is no longer managing Jones-994 has things backwards.
