Biography
Morna (Jones) Barnett was born in Victoria, Australia
Morna Lucille Colonia Jones, married name Barnett, was born in 1916, her birth registered that year in Horsham, Victoria, as the daughter of Percy Theodore Jones and Mary Amelia Britten. [1]
Marriage. On 20th January 1938, Morna married George William Henry Barnett, at Berri, South Australia. They had at least two sons: Harold (1948-2007), Peter (1951-1955) [2]
Death. Morna Lucille Colonia Barnett died 15th September 1997, aged 81. On the 18th September, she was interred in the Berri Cemetery, joining George who had predeceased her in 1962. The cemetery record reports her last residence as 9 Nitschke Street, Berri. [3]
