Biography

Marjorie was born in 1902. She is the daughter of Alfred Jones and Ellen Coleman.

Was a waitress at Hotel Gunyah, Belmont, Lake Macquarie NSW after her separation from husband. She had not lived with him for seven years when she was shot while at work by a deranged patron. She survived, but the bullet penetrated her shoulder and then one of her lungs. She was taken to Newcastle Hospital, NSW.
