Dies Thursday

Clyde C. Jones, 44, resident of Nederland, died at 5:15 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the veteran's hospital at Alexandria, La., following a lingering illness. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Baptist church.

The body will arrive in Nederland today. Services will be held in the Davis Funeral home with Rev. J. M. Garner, pastor of the First Baptist church in Nederland, officiating, at a time not determined at press time.

Mr. Jones is survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. V. Green, Mrs. O. Clotiaux and Miss Lois Jones, all of Nederland; one half-sister, Miss Sarah Matthewson; one brother, Glynn Jones, of Silsbee; half-brother, Wallace Jones of McGee, Miss.; and a grandmother, Mrs. B. N. Lowry, of Beaumont. [5]
