Minter was born about 1886. He was the son of Thomas Jones and Mary Flewett. He passed away after 1935.

Minter was born in Black Diamond, King, Washington Territory on 23 Sep 1886.[1]

Marriage

Minter married Grace Johnson about 1913.[2] This marriage ended before 1918.[3]
Minter married Hannah Downs nee Gunnoe at Franklin, Ohio on 7 Nov 1921.[4]
Minter married Mary _______ after 1922 and before 1930.[2]

Children

Maybelle b. 1 Jul 1909, m. Charles Buck at Porter, Indiana on 3 Dec 1928[5], m. Robert Junior Weaver at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California on 1 Jun 1935.[6]

Military

Minter was a cook in Company H of the Illinois National Gaurd in Chicago, Illinois. Enlisting on 22 June 1916. [7] [8]
Minter filed his draft registration on 7 Jun 1918 at Fulton, Illinois. He listed his age as 27 and stated he was a single unemployed cook.[3]

Immigration

Minter departed Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia aboard the 5587 gross ton cargo vessel SS West Mahwah arriving Honolulu, Hawaii 9 Oct 1920.[9]

It is not known exactly when or where Minter died however there is a clue in the 1937 San Francisco City directory showing his wife Mary as a widow.[18]
