Biography

Abigail was born on August 23, 1818 in Medway, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Elisha Jones and Hannah Richardson. ^[1] She married William Daniels on April 4, 1839 in Medway. ^[2]

Abigail and William lived in Medway where they raised their family. ^[3][4][5] They had 5 children

2. Samuel Partridge
3. Francis Hammond
4. George Herbert
5. Abby Jane

When William passed away in 1863 Abigail became a housekeeper, still living in the same house with her children per the 1870 Census. They lived near her brother Elisha Adams Jones and father-in-law Jasper Daniels. ^[6] In 1880 she lived in the household of her son Francis "Frank" Daniels and his family. Also living with them was her widowed mother-in-law Mehitable Daniels ^[7]

She passed away August 29, 1887 in Medway, having lived there her entire life. ^[8][9] She is buried with her husband in the prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis. ^[10]
