Ivy McKissick Lusty, 80, of Van Vleck, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002.

She was born July 13, 1921, in Lewisville, Ark., to the late John A. and Edna Lou Smith Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Van Vleck.

Survivors: husband, David Les Lusty, daughters, Elizabeth Johnson, Sandra Joyner and Mary Snyder, all of Van Vleck; son, James. A. McKissick of Wadsworth; sisters, Thelma McKissick of Buckeye, Dorothy Bandy of Houston, Jean McClemens of Texarkana, Ark., and Kathrine Stiles of Kansas City, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: first husband, James "Jake" McKissick; parents; and brother, John A Jones Jr.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Joe Ramsey officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City, 979-245-4613.

Pallbearers: Danny Johnson, Randy Joyner, Steven Snyder, Guy Snyder Jr., Sam Cox and Matthew Cockrell.
