Alma Josefina Fredrika Jonsdotter was born on January 4, 1873 in Karlstens slottsförsamling, Bohuslän, Sverige. She was the daughter of artillerist Karl Fredrik Jonasson Modig and his wife Anna Kristina Pettersdotter.[1] [2]

Previous birth location Gudhem, Sweden. Not sure what the source is. According to parish book, she came from Karlsten in Bohuslän and the Swedish Death Index has Göteborgs garnisionsförsaming (O).
