Erik Jonsson was born in 1748 as the son of Utby Jon Olsson and his wife Lisbet Olsdotter in Backarne, Rättvik.[1][2] In the 1760s we find him in the household of his older brother, Backa #32.[3] In 1791 he lives in the household of his nephew, Backa #37, but he is noted as having married and moved to Boda in 1792.[4]
Erik married the widow Lisbet Jonsdotter in Boda June 14 1792.[5] They lived in Boda #30, Gatu.[6][7] They had a son, Jon and a daughter, Lisbet. Erik passed away in Boda in 1824.[8]
