T/Sgt Robert "Bobby, Bob" Maurice Jordan, JR 1949-1990

Robert Maurice Jordan, JR was born on the 17th of November 1949 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana the son of Robert Maurice Jordan, SR and his wife, Dorothy Christine BROWN Jordan 1929-2007.

Bob, SR and "Dot" Dorothy Jordan were the parents of Five Sons:

• 1 - Robert "Bobby" Maurice Jordan JR 1949–1990
• 2 - Danny Lee Jordan 1955–1955
• 3 - Gregory "Greg" Jordan
• 4 - Richard "Rick" Jordan
• 5 - Gary Jordan

On the 18th of November 1969, Robert "Bobby" Jordan, Jr joined the Air Force during the Viet Nam War Era and was stationed in California. His rank was a T/Sergeant. I remember Bobby coming to My (Cousin Carole BROWN Whittemore) Parents' home to see our family while he was on leave. He was so handsome in his uniform and a tall, very good looking young man! Bobby returned to California where he married a girl and they had "natural" quadruplets! I do not know her name or any information on his children.

In 1990 tragedy strikes when Dot and Bob Jordan, SR receive a phone call that their son had committed suicide. His reasons are unknown. He is buried at the San Francisco National Cemetery, Section DS, Site 1145-AAA located in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, USA.

After Bobby moved to California, he was rarely in touch with his cousins, making for few details of his life. I am so pleased that we are connecting with his family now.

An update to this story - Susan JORDAN Salazar contacted me about our family and already disclosed an error for me. I do not have Bobby's wife's name yet, but Susan is his Daughter. She informed me that he never had a set of "natural quadruplets" that they were only TWINS, and girls. Sometimes the truth does not always match what we have been told in person. So always be ready to change your facts when searching! Ha,ha.
