"GREBER - JORDAN. A pretty, wedding took place at Raumati,' Whiporie, the residence of the bride's parents, when Miss May Jordan, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Jordan, was married to Mr. Dave Greber, of Tuckurimba. The, Rev. C. Foley, of Coraki, conducted the marriage service. The bride entered the large verandah which was decorated for the occasion, on the arm of her father, who gave her away, while Mrs. W. Skinner, of Chatsworth, played the wedding hymn, The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden.' The bride wore, a. dress of white crepe de chene, trimmed with lace and ruchings at side, with customary wreath and veil, and carried a sheaf of roses, the gift of Hockey Bros., Grafton. The bride .was attended by her sister, Lily, who was prettily gowned in blue silk marocain, trimmed with cream lace, and hat to match.; She carried a bouquet of pink roses and ferns, also the gift of Hockey Bros. Mr. S. Faint, of Goolmangar, acted as best man. After the service, the bride's parents entertained about. 90 guests, the table being decorated with, a large three-decker wedding cake, and roses, and ferns. The Rev. Foley acted as chairman, and the usual toasts were honored.. Mr. and Mrs. Greber left by car for Brisbane, where the honeymoon was spent. The bride's travelling dress was of cinnamon crepe -de chene, and hat and shoes to match. Afterwards the dancers adjourned to the large room where a happy time was spent till the small hours of the morning. Mr. G. Battese acted as M.C., and the music was supplied by several friends. The bride received many costly and beautiful presents, including a number of cheques. The home of the happy, couple will be at Tucki." "Piece of Steel Enters Thigh CASINO, Wednesday.- The Casino District Ambulance was called this morning to attend to David Greber, a timber getter at the Braemar State Forest. A piece of steel flew off a wedge and entered his right thigh. He was later admitted to the Casino Memorial Hospital, where attempts will be made to locate and extract the steel."
