Biography

Obadiah was born about 1780. He was named in his father's 1781 Goochland County, Virginia, will.[1]

He appears in the personal tax list in Goochland County, Virginia, in 1801.[2]

In May 1833, he was involved in a court case in Goochland County. His name, as well as the name of his wife, are given: "...Obadiah Jordan, and Jane his wife, formerly Jane Morrison...."[3]

Obadiah and Jane had the following children:[4]
