Amos Jordan was born on 5 January 1762 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America, son of Francis Jordan (1733–1804).[1]

Amos married Sarah Elizabeth Davis (born on 25 September 1762 in Trappe, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania).

Amos died before 5 August 1842 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged about 80. He was buried in Washington Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Spring Garden, Union County, Pennsylvania.[1]
