Thomas Jordan was born in Worcestershire, England.
Thomas was christened on 27th January 1838, son of Anne and John.[1]
His father was a basket maker.[2]
Thomas married Bessy Gale (abt.1848-) in 1868[3] and in 1871 they had a baby daughter and he was working as a farmer.[4] 10 years later he was farming 8.5 acres and had 3 children.[5] In 1891 they were living with 6 children[6] and 10 years after that 3 were still living at home.[7]
