Biography

Thomas Jordan was born in Worcestershire, England.

Thomas was christened on 27th January 1838, son of Anne and John.^[1] His father was a basket maker.^[2]

Thomas married Bessy Gale (abt.1848-) in 1868^[3] and in 1871 they had a baby daughter and he was working as a farmer.^[4] 10 years later he was farming 8.5 acres and had 3 children.^[5] In 1891 they were living with 6 children^[6] and 10 years after that 3 were still living at home.^[7]

He died in 1909 aged 71.^[8]
