Amanda Parsons Jordan was born on 6 Aug 1828 in Waltham, Hancock County, Maine, USA, daughter of Elliot Jordan Sr. (1803 - 1882) and Elizabeth (Parsons) Jordan (1806 - 1878).

Her siblings were:

  3. Annie Lucinda (Cook) Sawyer (1859 - 1916).
