John Daniel Jordan never lived in Chesterfield County, SC. In 1850, he was not living. He died in Baker County, Ga in 1845. My Jordan line is impossible to trace Other than DNA evidence, all hopes of tracing back from John's alleged father, James Jordan is gone. Perhaps one day, DNA will uncover my roots.

James Jordan was believed to be the same James Jordan aka James Jordon, who received an English Land Grant in 1769 on land that became Barnwell County, SC. He was not the same James who married Sarah Coon,as this James was of the Arthur Jordan line.
