Violet (Jordan) Riordan was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Violet Florence Jordan was born on 8th June 1893 in Ryde, New South Wales (Australia). She was the eldest child of Jabez Jordan and Mary Lutherborrow. [1] The family soon after moved to Codrington-Lismore-Byron Bay district, in the New South Wales Northern Rivers region, before finally settling near Nambour, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast..
Violet married John Riordan on 12th January 1914 in Queensland. [2] They had five children.
She passed away, aged 95 years, on 15th November 1988 in Ipswich, Queensland [3] and is buried in Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery, Bridgeman Downs, Queensland. [4]
