Biography

Elnora (Joseph) Williams is a part of US Black heritage.

Elnora was born in 1888 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was the daughter and oldest child of Ira Joseph and Mary Alice Johnson. She married Moses H Williams in Bedford, Massachusetts in 1909. They continued to live in New Bedford where they raised two children and at least one foster child. Elnora's occupation in 1930 and 1940 was listed as janitoress. She was widowed in 1957. She passed away in 1972 and is buried in Peckham West Cemetery, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
