Biography

Marguerite Joubert, daughter of Jean Baptiste joubert and Adelaide Ledoux, was baptized on 17 March 1799, her baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

She married Joseph Pitre, son of Pierre Pitre and Marie Fontenot, on 20 Aug. 1813, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

She died at her father's home in 1819. ^[2]
