Not having access to any resources to confirm husbands, I presume from Schalk's comment that Paul Rétif (1602-1677) was not her husband given age difference & the fact that he was married to someone else. Can someone please confirm so I can remove that marriage.

According to the 'source' of Karina, the mother of this Deborah {Deborah Loxton} died in the Cape 08 augustus 1695 at the age of 72/73. The father Pieter Jaubert according to the same source seems to have died 09 juni 1702 in the Cape. Both facts should be verified in the primary records if correct. I have been unable as yet to find both profiles on WikiTree. The links provided by Christine also does not throw any light on the spousal issues of this profile. I have not checked SAG or Genealogies of Old Cape Families or any other of the usual secondary sources.
