Biography

Josephine Joubert, daughter of Jean Joubert and Marie Louse Adelayde Ledoux, was baptized on 4 Aug. 1814 at age 3 months, her baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

She married Charles Pitre, son of Charles Francois Pitre and Catherine Vige, on 8 July 1828, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
