Herbert Journeau was born about 12 Oct 1880 in Port Daniel, Quebec, Canada.[1]
In the 1881 Canada census, Herbert Jerneau (age 1, born about 1880), was living in Port Daniel, Bonaventure, Quebec, Canada, with parents John Jerneaur (30) and Mary Jerneau (30).[2]
In the 1891 Canada census, Herbert Juneau (age 11, born about 1880) was living in Port Daniel West, with parents John Juneau (40) and Mary Juneau (40), and siblings Eliza Ann (9) and Amanda (5).[3]
In the 1901 Canada census, Herbert Journeau (age 21, born 12 Oct 1880) was living in Port Daniel, with parents John Journeau (42) and Mary Journeau (48), and siblings Eliza (19) and Minnie (14). He was listed as working as a farmer's son.[1] (Note that his birth year is stated as 1882, however based on his age of 21 (also stated) it would be 1880, consistent with other records.)
Herbert Journeaux married Amanda Maude Travers in 1906. When they married, Herbert was 27 and Amanda was 30.[4]

Herbert operated a fish processing plant and a general store.[4]
In the 1921 Canada census, Herbert Journeau (age 40, born about 1881) was living in Port-Daniel, with Maude M Journeau (43) and children Lorne (13), Lockhard (12), Linda (10), Gwendolin (6) and Hazel (1).[5]
Herbert died in the family home in Port-Daniel in 1940 at age 60.[4]
