Biography
John was born in 1847. He was the son of Thomas Joy and Catharine Sadler. He attended Clitheroe House Boarding School in 1861. He worked as a Machine Tool Fitter, a tobaccanist and eventually a commercial traveller. He passed away in 1905. [1]
