Notes

From Anne Joyce - Transported as a convict to Van Diemens Land per ship Aurora, arrived 7.10.1835. Charged at the Old Bailey, Middlesex on 16.10.1834 and convicted of stealing a watch, sentenced to 7 years transportation, but served nearly 10years because of bad behaviour. Native of Bloomsbury. Left wife Ann and 2 children in London, siblings Joseph, William, Thomas, Mary and 2 others. Married secondly Mary Brown in Van Diemens Land in 1852, and later Mary Ann Enright in 1860.
