Biography

Bert was born in 20 Jan 1870 in Waterloo, Iowa. The son of Abel Joyner and Emily Patterson. Bert Seymour Joyner was born on January 20, 1870, in Waterloo, Iowa, his father, Abel, was 48 and his mother, Emma, was 19. He married Ida Irene Adilade Benson on April 17, 1894, in La Porte City, Iowa. They had seven children in 18 years. He died on January 15, 1937, in his hometown at the age of 66, and was buried there.
