Biography

John Phillipps Judd was educated at Eton and at Trinity College, Cambridge. [1]

He married Frances Anne Scott daughter of Harry Scott, HM Consul at Bordeaux. [1] Their first two children were born in France [2] then they lived at various places in England [3] until settling at Mace's Place in Rickling Green in Essex. [4][5]

Frances died in 1883 and was buried at All Saints, Rickling on the 24th of September. [6]

John died 9 April 1888 at home at Mace's Place in Rickling. [7][8] He was buried at All Saints, Rickling on the 13th of April. [9]
