Biography

Nathaniel Judd was born about 1814-1815 in North Carolina.[1]

In 1850 Nathaniel (35) was working as a clerk and seen living in Nacogdoches, Texas with his younger brother Hamilton Brown Judd (1818-) (31), sister-in-law Nancy Jane (O'Dell) Judd (1830-bef.1876) (26), and two nephews - Zachariah Judd (2) and Lewis Judd (newborn).[1]

One year later, on 9 Aug 1851, Nathaniel married Martha Jane (Bryant) Judd (bef.1838-abt.1899) in Nacogdoches, Texas.[2]

In 1870, Nathaniel (57) and Martha J (40) were living in Crooked Creek, Estill, Kentucky with 5 inferred children - Roenna C (19) who was working as a teacher, Alex H (15) and Francis (8) who were attending school, Martha A (4), and U S Grant Judd (1).[3]
