Edward (Judd) Allen was born in England.

Biography

His father "Edward Pullin Judde" was the informant on the birth certificate. Almost certainly this child has been given the two Christian names of both grandfathers. He emigrated to New South Wales. For reasons unknown, he later assumed the additional surname of Allen. The inscription on his gravestone states "Edward Jobe [sic] Allen".

He married twice and on his first marriage certificate he is given as "Edward Job Cook Pullin Judd". On his second marriage certificate he has become "Edward Job Allen", a widower. His parents' names are correct.

He had six children, one of which predeceased him.

His death certificate was signed by R. A Cairns, son-in-law. Edward's age is given as 97 years (obviously wrong). His first marriage details are absent. He was buried in Kenilworth Cemetery after a Church of England service.
