He lived some years in Northampton village, and thence removed to the east side of Mount Tom, in the same town, to a tract now called South Farms, opposite South Hadley. He died Dec. 31, 1749, in his 59th year. His widow died July 16, 1768, aged 74. The children may not be arranged according to birth. Three of his sons settled in South Hadley. His four sons, Samuel, Thomas, Asahel and Reuben had twelve wives.
