Biography

Richard, baptised on July 23 1838, was the son of Frances Squire and Hugh Judd.

He was employed as a Servant in Buckland Brewer for John Durant, Farmer and his children.

In 1870 he emigrated on the ship 'Germany' to Canada arriving in Quebec June 22.

By 1881 he was living with his widowed sister Elizabeth Mott and her 3 children and working as a Farmer.

Richard never married and died in 1895 age 56 of Dropsey at Oxford, Ontario.
